Going over the top

Hello, and welcome  to “Where Again?”.

This blog has been a long time coming, and it has taken me a while to get over my hesitation and “go over the top.”

I am an amateur historian interested primarily in the WW1 battles on the Somme and in the WW2 battles of the US 45th Infantry Division in France, specifically in the Alsace region. Knowing me and how my interests wander a bit, however, you are likely to see a good bit about warfare in Europe in general and about the research process.

So, rather than go on with expressions of good intent, I’ll just leave it at that.
